Plant quarantine
Inspected by Egypt's Central Administration of Plant Quarantine before loading. A phytosanitary certificate accompanies every shipment, in line with EU plant-health rules.
Al Fateh Group sorts, packs and exports Egyptian fruit and vegetables for importers, wholesalers and retail packers across Europe. Leafy greens fly out of Cairo daily, citrus and vegetables travel in reefer containers, and every lot is tested against EU residue limits before it leaves Egypt.
Al Fateh Group Import & Export is an Egyptian exporter connecting Egyptian farms with European buyers. We work with contracted growers across the country's main production regions and run sorting, grading and packing to EU marketing standards.
Produce is cooled soon after harvest and stays at its set temperature through packing, inspection and loading. Each shipment leaves with its phytosanitary certificate, residue report and traceability back to the farm, so it clears EU border checks without surprises.
We plan programmes with importers season by season: weekly air shipments of leafy greens and soft fruit, and regular reefer containers of citrus, potatoes, onions and other vegetables.
Contracted growers working to GLOBALG.A.P practices, with spray records checked before harvest.
Picked at the right maturity and moved into cold rooms within hours.
Graded by size, colour and defects to EU marketing standards, Extra Class or Class I.
Export cartons or retail punnets, with origin, class, variety and lot code on every label.
Plant-quarantine inspection, phytosanitary certificate and an MRL lab report for each lot.
Loaded at set temperature onto the next flight from Cairo or into a reefer at Alexandria or Damietta, with a data logger on board.
Air freight is how we ship our most perishable lines. Fewer hours between harvest and arrival means more shelf life on your side.
Picked in the early morning and moved straight into shade and field cooling.
Sorted, packed in air-freight cartons and forced-air pre-cooled to the product's set point.
Plant-quarantine inspection, phytosanitary certificate and MRL release for the lot.
Delivered by reefer truck, built on pallets under thermal covers and held in the airport cold room.
Cargo or belly-hold flight to the European hub, about 4–5 hours in the air.
Border plant-health check at the EU airport, then onward delivery to your warehouse.

Each product lists its freight mode, transit temperature, export packing and customs code. The month strip shows the Egyptian season.
Every consignment travels with the inspections, lab results and documents that European plant-health and food-safety rules require.
Inspected by Egypt's Central Administration of Plant Quarantine before loading. A phytosanitary certificate accompanies every shipment, in line with EU plant-health rules.
Each lot is sampled before shipping and analysed in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory against EU maximum residue levels for pesticides.
Forced-air pre-cooling right after packing, refrigerated trucks to the airport or port, and a temperature logger travelling with every consignment.
Citrus, potatoes, onions, sweet potatoes, pomegranates and grapes ship in 40ft high-cube reefers, with temperature, ventilation and humidity set for each product and a data logger in every container.
Plan your programme by month. Peak months give the strongest volumes and prices; edge months are available in smaller quantities.
Windows are indicative for Egyptian origin and shift with variety, region and weather. Confirm dates and volumes with our export desk.
Send the product, volume and destination, and we will reply with availability, specifications and a price.
